R.I.P Alan Clark
On behalf of Alan Clark’s family, we would like to let everyone know that one of our best wagon drivers sadly passed away on Friday 26th September 2014 following a long and difficult battle against Myeloma Cancer.  Alan worked for Coleman & Company for many years and was respected by all his friends and colleagues.  He will be sadly missed by everyone who new and had the pleasure of working him.

Many people watched the explosive demolition of Didcot A Power Station's Southern Cooling Towers from the comfort of their homes by using the live stream provided.  We now have the UStream video of the event for anyone who may have missed it.  As far as we know this was the first time that an explosive demolition project had been streamed live in the UK.

New 956 Excavator
We've just taken delivery of the first part of our "Swiss Army Knife" order from Liebherr.  Our New demolition spec excavator is the first of three 956 (56 tonne) machines.  This has a goose neck boom the other two have straighten booms.  Equipped with a LaBounty MSD2500R (6.5t) other for work on Didcot Power Station and other industrial demolition projects in the future.

Coleman Wastes No Time With Landfill Directive

New Kissing Gates Open Nature Reserve For Visitors
On Monday 22nd April children from Whitecrest Primary School in Great Barr helped officially open their new entrance feature at Holly Wood Local Nature Reserve after a major project to improve the access and site.

Coleman Moves Into Gear With JLR Contract For Vinci
We were delighted to be awarded the contract to demolish Jaguar Land Rover’s “Body in White” assembly plant working for Vinci. The assembly plant which is located in Solihull, West Midlands, has been the birthplace for thousands of Range Rovers, Discoveries and Land Rovers since Jaguar Land Rover starting manufacturing there in 1980.  We’re now looking forward to moving full speed ahead with regards to its demolition.
